Kathryn S. MacAskie is president and CEO of Zarvona Energy LLC.

Kathryn has been involved in the evaluation, acquisition, management, development, and divestiture of oil and gas assets for over 30 years. From 1995 to 1999, she served as senior vice president of EnerVest Management Company, LLC, an oil and gas company in Houston, Texas, funded primarily by institutional investors. After leaving EnerVest, Kathryn served as vice president and Houston office manager for Cawley, Gillespie & Associates, providing property evaluation services for numerous oil and gas companies. From 2001 to 2006, she was a founding member and acquired assets for FlairTex Resources Inc, an organization with financial backing by Sandefer Capital Partners. From 2006 until May 2010, Kathryn served as senior vice president of acquisitions of EV Energy Partners (Nasdaq: EVEP), an upstream Master Limited Partnership, focused on acquiring and managing onshore oil and gas properties. Under her leadership, EVEP acquired approximately $900 Million of oil and gas assets located in producing basins throughout the Gulf Coast, Mid-Continent, & Appalachian regions of the United States.

Kathryn received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Rice University in 1979 and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
