Mark J. Herrin
Mark J. Herrin has served Salient Trust Co. since 1999 and currently serves as its Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Herrin provides oversight to the firm's trust administration group. Mr. Herrin also addresses various internal legal and regulatory compliance issues that affect the firm, with an emphasis on issues involving its role as fiduciary.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Herrin practiced law in estate planning, probate and estate administration, general corporate law, and civil litigation.
Mr. Herrin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with Finance Applications from Southern Methodist University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law.
Mr. Herrin is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He is also active with several charitable organizations in the Houston area and is a third generation Houstonian.
