J. Matthew Newtown
J. Matthew Newtown is a Director and Partner of Salient and has over eleven years of experience in the investment management industry. Mr. Newtown leads the client services group for Salient Partners.
In addition to managing key client relationships, Mr. Newtown oversees client services such as investment reviews and presentations, trust and account administration and analysis and execution of liquid and illiquid client portfolios.
Mr. Newtown previously served as an Associate for The Redstone Companies, managing many client relationships for the Houston-based investment firm. He also worked as an Associate for PaineWebber, Inc., as part of its Redstone Consulting wealth advisory group.
Mr. Newtown earned his Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and he has also earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) certification.
